Selling Rare and Distinguished Art Deco Suite
This stunning, unique and highly stylized four piece Art Deco Suite (consisting of Sideboard, Coffee Table, and 2 Barrel Chairs), is informed and inspired by straw marquetry designs of Jean Michael Frank famous around the globe in the 1920's and 1930's. The Suite includes a lyrically serpentine period buffet, with vertically undulating doors and precise waterfall shelving, two elegant white leather barrel chairs with thousand piece hand pinned Braque and Picasso inspired parquetry and a generous five foot square coffee settee supported by four silver coated globes. Finish is period glossy High French Polish. The Suite is composed of Zebra Wood and other exotic woods popular in the 1920's and 30's. Price and provenance available upon request.
